My husband and I got to talking about improving our resale value of our home. It got me to thinking of other easy ways to improve the resale value of a home and I got an easy list of five ways to improve the resale value of your home.

1) Buy window coverings. I know I already mentioned it, but it bears mentioning again.

2) Spend some landscaping time in your yard. You can do some nice landscaping for next to no money, just your time and you can end up with a great looking yard.

3) Go around your house and spend a day fixing all of the minor repairs that you just haven’t gotten around to fixing.

4) Clean your house. Do an all day Spring cleaning in your home. A thorough cleaning will make things look much better.

5) Organize a neighborhood cleanup. Ok, you might not get you whole neighborhood involved, but maybe get some of your neighbors involved. Remember, the neighborhood homes affect the resale value of your home.

UNFQ is a restart of the previous blog I had here on this domain called Unusual Frequent Questions. I can’t think of a catchy title for this blog right now, but once I start writing on it, I am sure I will find a few good ideas about it.
