Don’t Follow The Crowd
I don’t know about anyone else, but I have a natural paranoia of the crowd mentality. In fact, whenever the crowd is for something, I feel like I should back away from it. In fact, I start to get frightened of things if the crowd becomes very much for something. I don’t really know why it is the case. It’s not because I don’t agree with something as much as the thought that whenever a crowd flocks to an issue it is because they are being led that way by the media or the politicians.
I am sorry, I do not think the media is looking out for our best interests all the time. I do not think politicians are looking out for our best interest all the time. I look at the actions of the crowd flocking to an issue, I look at the media or politician messages and then I begin to distance myself and look at the other side. I guess that means I end up going against the grain in politics and everything else.
This is just like this bailout plan. It’s all about the politicians and business leaders making money. There needs to be something for the individual small businessman. There needs to be a real plan to bring about honest and substantive change in the economy. Not just crowd mentality.

I think you are spot on about the bailout. At least that’s what our research is showing. People really feel like they were corralled into going with it.
Tell me what you're thinking...
