Easy Commercials and Business Promotion

I was just thinking about a great new business the other day. It might be better as an add on service to an existing business, but it could definitely work as a stand alone business if done right. I know it’s not the best thing to give away free unique business ideas, but here is one that could be particularly lucrative to the right person.

My idea is videos for businesses. With the particular growth in video that is occurring there is an opportunity for companies to promote themselves via videos. In fact businesses have always had the opportunity to use videos, but previously, they have always had to pay for market access. With plenty of places for videos to get airplay, now you can make a video and be able to get it shown widely.

I know you might be saying so what, many businesses are already taking advantage of it. That’s true, but local businesses aren’t and that is where the true benefit of this idea comes in. I will leave it to you to develop it more.

Make Candles Or Soap?

I just love finding out more and more about stuff on the net. I have been doing a ton of research on the internet into soap making supplies thanks to my initial post on soap making supplies. My wife is really interested in making designer soaps and candles as a way to make some money and feed her artistic cravings. I really think she would do good at it and maybe make some decent money.

I have been doing a lot of research on different supplies for us to get and how to set it up here in the house. I’d appreciate any comments from anyone with information on marketing the finished soap and candles.

Three Easy Home Businesses

I have been trying to think of a home business that I could run alongside my current job to earn some extra money. It’s tough trying to come up with a business that is unrelated to my teaching and is a business that can come along with me wherever we go. After a lot of thought, I came up with Three Easy Home Businesses.

The criteria I set was that it had to be a business I could take with me wherever I go and it had to be a business that could be started on the cheap. Here are my three easy home businesses.

1) Handicrafts. Handicrafts can sell no matter where I am. I could come up with my own designs on some simple handicrafts. I could sell them over the net, but I could also sell them locally where ever I am. The plus is that the whole family could be involved in the production.

2) Writing. I like to write. I could sell my writing online on different webmaster forums. The pay is ok as I have done some of it. It may not pay a lot, but it could be lucrative as a sideline and better than taking on students.

3) Marketing. I could work to market products for other people. I could do it using the web or even locally. The idea is to contact people in the local area and offer my services. Something like a full scale web promo package. It could be good.

Anymore to add? Any comment?
